This research aims to develop a numerical methodology for predicting aerodynamic noise generated by a propeller fan. To obtain validation data, we measured aerodynamic noise generated by a propeller fan. We are now performing numerical predictions based on large-scale LES of the broadband noise of a fan. The results to data seem to be quite promising.
