The joint R&D project "CMI" in collaboration with Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo, 22 companies including Boeing, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kawasaki Heavy Industries and SUBARU, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and NEDO has now entered into the seventh year from April 2019.
The growing aircraft industry is seeking new high-efficiency manufacturing technology in the globalization of commercial aircraft production. We CMI will continue to research and develop innovative manufacturing technologies that meets the needs of aircraft industry.
In this symposium, lectures of latest administrative trends in aircraft manufacturing, aircraft market trends and technical trend will be given and we will also introduce achievements and activities of the CMI.
